Adoptable Dogs

The Dubois County Humane Society currently has a number of wonderful dogs who need forever homes. Our adoption hours are Tuesday thru Friday 12-6pm EST and Saturday 9-12pm EST.

Application
All potential adopters must fill out our Adoption Application.  If the application is approved, the adopter must sign a contract agreeing to specific items regarding the care of the animal.  For more important information on our adoption process, read  "Adopting a Pet."  Please remember, adopting a pet is a commitment for 10-15 years.

Fees
The adoption fee for dogs is $100.00. Every animal adopted from the Dubois County Humane Society has been heartworm tested (dogs), received age appropriate vaccinates, wormed, microchipped, and heartwormed (dogs) and flea treated. All animals have been spayed/neutered.
